Baptism is a Sacrament which initiates us into the Church family. It is an important time in the life of a family. We bring new life into our family and bring the children who are a gift from God to the Church to begin their journey of faith. Parents take on a special responsibility when bringing their children to be baptized.
The process begins with a home visit. There is an initial form that will be completed that includes the child's name, birth date, parents, all the information that is needed to prepare a baptism document.
It is followed by a second home visit to review the moments of the Sacrament of Baptism. A family needs to be part of our parish community in order to have a child baptized in our parish community.
For further information, please contact the pastor, Rev. Gilbert Simard, or the secretary, Diane Reintjes, at the parish office.
